This policy explains how personal data is handled when you use the Interventus Android app, buy a subscription and visit this website. It is written under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003. If this English version and the Italian version differ, the Italian version prevails.
1. Data controller
RMsistemi, [Indirizzo della sede], VAT [Partita IVA]. For any request: assistenza@interventus.it.
2. In short
Your work data (customers, appointments, jobs, photos, signatures and reports) is stored on your phone and we do not receive it. For the subscription we receive from Google Play only what we need to know whether it is active. Neither the app nor the website uses analytics, profiling or advertising tools.
3. Data handled by the app
Data you enter
Stored in the app's private storage on your phone:
- your company details: name, VAT number, contacts, logo, rates and costs;
- your customers: name, VAT number, address, phone, notes;
- appointments, jobs, materials, hours worked and amounts;
- photos taken during jobs;
- documents you choose to store in the app.
You are the controller of your customers' data and decide how it is used. RMsistemi has no access to it.
Data recorded with the signature
When a customer signs a report, the app records along with the signature stroke: signer's name and role, date and time, GPS position and its accuracy, distance from the customer's address, phone model, app version and the SHA-256 fingerprint of the document. This shows where and when the report was signed and that it was not changed afterwards. The data stays on the phone and appears on the PDF given to the customer. We recommend telling the customer about it when they sign.
Phone permissions
- Camera: to take job photos.
- Location: only at signing time, for the data described above.
- Notifications, alarms and boot: for appointment reminders, including after a restart.
- Network: to share reports and to check your subscription with Google Play.
You can deny or revoke any permission in Android settings; only the related feature stops working.
Backup
If Google backup is enabled on your phone, Android copies the app's database and settings to your Google account under Google's terms; photos and reports are excluded. Backup files you export manually are saved wherever you choose.
Sending reports
When you share a report, the PDF goes to the app you pick (email, WhatsApp, Drive or others), which handles it under its own terms.
4. Subscription and payments
The subscription is bought inside the app through Google Play billing. Payment is handled entirely by Google: we never see or store your card or payment method details. For that data Google acts as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
From Google Play we receive: the subscription product purchased, order number, purchase token, start date, expiry, renewal status and any refunds. We use them to unlock paid features, manage renewals and cancellations and answer your support requests.
Legal basis: performance of the subscription contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for sales records, legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
5. Data handled by the website
Contact form. Name, email, topic and message are used only to reply to you. Legal basis: your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Technical data. Like every website, the server logs IP address, date and page requested, for security and operation (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
Cookies. The site uses a single technical session cookie, needed to protect the contact form. It uses no profiling or third-party cookies, so no consent banner is required. Fonts are hosted on our own server and are not loaded from external services.
6. Recipients and transfers
Data may be processed, as processors, by the website's hosting and email providers. We do not sell or share data with third parties. Google, for subscriptions and backup, may transfer data outside the European Union with the safeguards of Articles 45 and 46 GDPR.
7. Retention
- App data on the phone: until you delete it or uninstall the app.
- Subscription data: for the length of the subscription and then as long as required by law.
- Contact form messages: 24 months from the last exchange.
- Server logs: per the hosting provider's schedule, usually a few months.
8. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing, by writing to assistenza@interventus.it. We reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the authority in your country.
To delete app data, see Delete account and data.
The app is designed for professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18.
9. Changes
When the app introduces accounts and cloud copies of data, this policy will be updated before the feature becomes available. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
